15 Minutes Fried Chicken - Recipe

I love to cook, especially when the dish is easy and quick to make and amazing in taste. Here is my personal recipe for fried chicken which is finger-licking good and you can prepare under 15 minutes!

Ingredients:

  • Raw Chicken (cut into small or curry size pieces)
  • Table Salt
  • Spices of your choice (I use Red Chili, Garam Masala and Black Pepper powder)
  • Flour (I use Aata (whole wheat flour) but you can use Maida (all purpose flour) too)
  • Cooking Oil
  • Lemon (Optional)
Preparation Steps:
  1. Put some cooking oil in the frying pan. Put the pan on stove and let it heat.
  2. While the oil is getting hot and ready for frying, take the chicken pieces in a plate/tray. Mix salt and the spices thoroughly with the chicken pieces with your hands. Quantity and proportion of salt and spices to use depend on your taste preference. (I use one spoon salt and half spoon of each of the other spices for one full raw chicken.)
  3. After the chicken and spices are thoroughly mixed, take some flour and mix with the chicken pieces thoroughly with your hands. Again, the quantity of flour used can vary from person to person - However, make sure that all the pieces are well covered with a layer of flour.
  4. By this time, the oil would be ready for frying. Put the chicken pieces one by one in the frying pan and let them fry. Every minute or two, stir and turn the pieces within the frying pan so that the pieces are well cooked from every side.
  5. Fry for 5-10 minutes till the pieces get a good orange-red color. Take out the pieces, removing excess oil. Squeeze lemon on the pieces for a good tangy flavor. Serve it with side of green chutney and onions for an awesome treat!
